ED patients’ data ‘not examined’ regarding services, conditions

HIQA’s investigation into the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise (MRHP) has found that there was “no evidence that anyone was examining the data on patients coming through Portlaoise Hospital’s ED” to find out the nature and extent of their conditions and the types of services they really needed.
