Dogged over Maremma’s charms

Giovanni Morelli was in the Italian region of Maremma — famous for its sheepdogs — to taste some Sassicaia wine and to view the Etruscan Amphorae in the local museum. ‘Etruscan women are expert drinkers and very attractive.’ Theopomus of Chios, 4th century B.C.
