Delays for both NCHD and GPs on monies owed

Dear Editor, I see from your recent article (‘HSE Payroll fails to increase NCHD pay’, August 11, 2017, bit.ly/NCHDpaydelay) that our poor NCHDs are poorer, despite an agreement put in place more than six months ago. Meanwhile, in GP land, maternity scheme payments in Kildare have been delayed because someone is on leave (could be maternity, which would be ironic), and eight months after a new infant vaccination schedule was introduced, payments are still awaited, as the change has not been programmed in yet (not so much ‘computer says no’, as computer doesn’t know what to say).
