Secure email to go live

Secure clinical email for medical practitioners is currently undergoing testing and is envisaged to go live in October, IMT reports. The HSE issued a tender for the provision of a private and secure email system to the health service, with GPs and their support staff earmarked to be the first group to receive the service, last September.
