President’s stipend slashed by two-thirds

The IMO voted in favour of a major overhaul of its constitution and rules at its AGM, which among other things will see the President’s stipend reduce by 67 per cent – from €108,000 to €35,000 paid during their year in office. While the change has only officially come into effect, immediate past-President Dr Matthew Sadlier already voluntarily agreed to the revised stipend for his year in office.
