NCRI’s founding Director to retire

By Lloyd Mudiwa.   After setting up the National Cancer Registry Ireland (NCRI) and spending more than two successful decades at its helm, during which time it has gained international repute, Dr Harry Comber is stepping down as founding Director of the Registry next year, Irish Medical Times reports.   Dr Comber, Director of the NCRI since its establishment in 1992, is retiring in June, when he reaches the statutory age of retirement.
