The majority of Waterford GPs who took part in a survey on the professional competence (PC) scheme say they need training on how to carry out the audit requirement of the scheme and are concerned about the time required to fulfil its requirements. Only half of the surveyed GPs said they felt the audit part of the scheme was practical in their current practice.
