Meeting due on Lead’s role

By Gary Culliton.   A key meeting, due to will cover HSE proposals regarding the responsibilities and authority of the National Primary Care Clinical Lead, who would be a GP, was scheduled for this week between the ICGP and the HSE’s National Lead for Transformation and Change Leo Kearns and National Director, Clinical Programmes, Dr Áine Carroll.   Stakeholder input into the selection of a Primary Care Programme Lead is set to be discussed and the parameters of a proposed new role agreed by March. The HSE is this week expected to table proposals to rationalise the Clinical Care Programmes.…
