IMO Haddington Road ballot is now underway

By Gary Culliton. The IMO ballot on the Haddington Road pay proposals began earlier this week (June 10) and is due to close at 3pm, June 26. The process involves a full postal ballot of all members except GPs, students and doctors who are based overseas. Addiction service, prison and army doctors are included in the ballot. The IMO Council voted at a meeting on June 5 to recommend to members that they accept the Haddington Road proposals. The Council vote was not unanimous.
