IMO members have voted in favour of the Haddington Road proposals, which were accepted by 67 per cent of those voting by ballot. Steve Tweed, Director of Industrial Relations at the IMO, said that acceptance of the proposals was a difficult choice for IMO members to make. “Our members who are at the frontline in the health services have taken the decision to accept the Haddington Road proposals. Feedback from members has made it clear that this has only been done on the basis that the HSE and the Department of Health now deliver on their side of the agreement.”…
