A draft ‘shortlist of potential contingency measures’ aimed at reducing projected deficits in the Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS) has been drawn up, following HSE engagement with the Department of Health, and is now being examined in detail, the Executive has indicated. HSE regions are reporting that in the year to date the Executive has already experienced a reduction in the pace and availability of flexibility under the original public service agreement.
