HSE ‘aware of remuneration in 2009’

The Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) has strongly rejected suggestions in some quarters that the levels of the remuneration of its executives were set without the knowledge of the HSE. “The CRC was and still is, contractually bound by employment contracts to pay salaries that are in excess of those determined unilaterally by the HSE in 2009,” the Clinic said.   CRC Chairman Jim Nugent appeared before the Dáil Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on December 11, to discuss remuneration arrangements for a number of senior managers.
