HSE approves the first ever Type C contracts

By Gary Culliton.   has recently sanctioned three requests for consultant Type C contracts (not posts). These relate to consultants who wish to switch from Type B contracts to Type C contracts. The Executive also refused one request and one request was deemed incomplete.   The HSE move follows recommendations by the Type C committee of five Type C consultant post appointments, under contracts which allow private off-site work.
