HSE abolishes privilege/closure day entitlement

The HSE has implemented revised leave arrangements ending the so-called privilege/closure day entitlement for all employees in the public health service, Irish Medical Times reports. “From the commencement of the 2012 leave year, there will no longer be any privilege/closure days,” HSE National Director of Human Resources, Barry O’Brien, recently told HSE management.
