The Chief Executive of the lead agency in Ireland supporting and funding health research, Enda Connolly, has informed his Board he will retire in half a year, providing for an orderly transition to a new CEO. Recruitment to fill the post, which falls vacant on January 31, will begin shortly, the Health Research Board (HRB) said.
