HIQA and voluntary hospitals are covered by claims agency

The Government has almost doubled the State Claims Agency’s (SCA) remit for managing personal injury damages, with the number of public bodies covered having increased from 63 to 119. Bodies added include HIQA and the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission. This delegation order in addition to State agencies also includes most of the Voluntary Hospital Groups.
