Health risks during Ramadan are highlighted

A resource has been made available to alert healthcare professionals and their patients to the potential health problems that can be caused by fasting during Ramadan for patients with type 2 diabetes. This year, Ramadan will take place from July 9 to August 7 and because of the extra daylight hours during this period, additional challenges will face people with the condition.
