Some 41 per cent of GPs have been unable to replace broken equipment such as ECG machines and 24-hour BP monitors due to inadequate funding, according to a survey of 720 GPs by the National Association of General Practitioners (NAGP). The NAGP presented the results to Fine Gael’s internal health committee on January 21.
