GP vaccines fee reduced to pharmacists rate by FEMPI

The latest GP FEMPI cuts – dubbed “mean-spirited and stupid” by the IMO – include a reduction in the influenza vaccination fee payable to €15 and supplementary out-of-hours payments. This equates to the fee payable to pharmacists for administering the same vaccine. The IMO has warned that the cuts to fees and allowances will have a significant impact on patients this winter.
