Centralisation will ‘cut risks’

The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has said that moving the Cork, Tralee and Navan control centres to Townsend Street in Dublin will cut existing risks in these three regions and would therefore “improve the safety of services to patients”. The NAS intends to move the control centres to the existing facility in Townsend Street, pending completion of the Tallaght Control Centre.
