Two voluntary agencies in which HSE Board members declared an interest were approved grants during 2012 worth almost €1 million, but all transactions were above board, the Executive has insisted. The agencies were paid €925,666 and €46,071 respectively, but the HSE did not clarify how many Board members declared an interest in these agencies nor their identities.
