A whole lot of rosé

Some excellent Chianti Classico and a lovely Rosato — a rosé — has Giovanni Morelli excited this week, as he enjoys the changing seasons in Tuscany and the four seasons in a day back in Ireland.  ‘Good wine is a good familiar creature if it be well used.’ — William Shakespeare, Othello. It is Easter and I am sitting on the terrazza in the sun sipping a chilled glass of Fiano di Avolino, an aromatic and beautiful white wine from Colli di Lapio in Irpinia (near Napoli) and reading the paper.
