New facility for healthcare of elderly opened

A €48 million facility for research into the healthcare of older people was opened this week. The Centre of Excellence for Successful Ageing, located at St James’s Hospital, was launched by the Minister for Health, Mary Harney. {openx:269} The Centre will combine prevention and clinical care, research and teaching.
