Does it pay to be a stick-in-the-mud?

Mud runs and adventure races can be a fun way to keep fit and active, but they come with a serious risk you won't find on your average jog around the park.  The HSE and HPSC have drawn attention to a series of outbreaks of infectious disease in Ireland and abroad in the wake of such races.
