National Eczema Awareness Week begins on September 13 with an open day for sufferers. Hosted by the Irish Eczema Society and supported by skincare brand La Roche-Posay, it takes place from 12 noon to 4pm on Sunday, September 13 at the Camden Court Hotel.
Dermatology specialist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dr Anne-Marie Tobin, will speak about what eczema is, the care needed and new treatments and procedures. A question and answer session will follow. Nurses will take part in workshops on general care.
