Oramorph Unit Dose Vials discontinued

Boehringer Ingelheim wishes to announce that Oramorph (morphine sulphate) UDVs10 mg/5 ml, Oramorph UDVs 30 mg/5 ml and Oramorph UDVs 100 mg/5 ml were discontinued on 31st March 2008.

Oramorph oral solution (morphine sulphate 10 mg/5 ml) and Oramorph concentrated oral solution (morphine sulphate 20 mg/ml) are unaffected by this discontinuation and will remain available. Oramorph oral solution and Oramorph concentrated oral solution are suitable therapeutic alternatives to Oramorph Unit Dose Vials.
