The Health Service Executive has said that three radiology posts are currently in the process of recruitment for the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Dooradoyle, Limerick.
It is expected that the successful candidates will commence duty by the second quarter of 2010.
In dermatology, an application to recruit a consultant post has been made and approval is awaited to progress with the appointment. In rheumatology, interviews were carried out by the Public Appointments Service and a recommendation has been made. In gastroenterology, interviews were also carried out by the Public Appointments Service and a recommendation is awaited.
